Harassment by Ken Pangborn

Ken Pangborn's harassment of me

Ken Pangborn began harassing me in early 1998. The main area of dispute, as far as I can tell, was that he thought his father's rights web page was better than mine. He was also extremely angry when I exposed him as a liar on several occasions.

Ken's harassment tactics against me have included:

Fraudulent complaints to Child Protective Services, alleging that my wife and I "neglect" our children.
Posting falsehoods regarding the character of my service in the Marine Corps--specifically, Ken claimed that I was discharged under other than honorable conditions.
Posting falsehoods regarding the circumstances of my divorce--specifically, Ken referred to me as a "wife-beater" and claimed that he had proof of a restraining order which stated that I was to remain "one thousand miles" away from my wife and child.
The posting of hundreds of other lies with clear intent to defame. Some of these lies are listed here.
Threats to use his position in the legal community to have me incarcerated.
Admissions that he has unlawfully accessed my consumer credit report.
Numerous attempts at "offline harassment", including posting of name, address, social security number and work information.
Repeated and unfounded complaints to my internet service providers, attempting to get these web pages censored.
Forging and falsely attributing inflammatory posts to me.
"Mail-bombing" me with unwanted, harassing and threatening e-mails.
Threats of harm to my wife and minor children.

I have been given a lot of helpful advice in regard to my problem with Ken Pangborn. I was mostly told to just ignore him, and he will go away. However, this does not always work when dealing with a bully, as any schoolyard kid who has ever been harassed by one already knows: often, "walking away" merely leaves you wide open to being knocked down from behind. Despite this, I took the advice and ignored Ken, hoping he would find other "marks" for his harassment. However, after not posting to or about him for several months, my name and email address were still brought up online daily by him, in some derogatory light or other. Having had enough of this unwarranted harassment, I have decided to continue hosting these web pages, so that others can understand what Ken Pangborn's true agenda and motives are.
