Barb. Messages like this
are typical of Ken Pangborn. I've seen him
in action on the old FIDOnet POLITICS echo, where he was outspoken
as hell
about topics which he obviously knew nothing at all. Such as "USAF
deploying
scores of B-46 jet bombers in Korea," and, of course, the infamous
"B-52
dive bomber used in Viet-Nam" Another was the "580-roud drum magazine
for
the AK-47." When he'd be corrected, he'd respond with a massive flame
of the
above type; threats, vilification, name calling, etc. Eventually, after
everyone (even those who were originally on his side of the topic of
the
moment) had a piece of him, the echo moderator would have to step in
and
politely request he shut the hell up.
He posts today in one of
the 'mens rights' newsgroups, where I'm
told he is continuing the same tactics: vilification, name calling,
threats
of violence (that never seem to mean much). There is a web site (I've
lost
the URL) put up by someone he constantly threatened on that ng that
has a
photo of him and some of his posts as well as the originals to which
he was
responding. Clearly, the guy is your typical flake.
Absent any other evidence,
I'd say there was no connection between
him and scientology (although this IS possible). I've no idea why he
chose
to single you out, however.
If he *does* decide -- for
whatever reason -- to take up the cause
of the scientologists, heh, that'll be really droll. I'd kinda like
to have
another piece of that dude.
