February 15, 1941
Kenneth Robert Pangborn is born in Illinois.
July 11, 1965
Barbara Mercedes Blanco-Sanciprian is born in Cuba.
April 15, 1985
Ken Pangborn marries Peggy Anne Reilly.
Early 1990's
Ken Pangborn participated in FidoNET until being booted from it.
Many old FidoNET users still remember Ken's harassment and his penchant
for lying.
October 15, 1991
Confirmation by Ken Pangborn in the
St.
Petersburg Times of his membership with NOW (the National
Organization for Women)
Mid 1990's
Ken takes his harassment to a worldwide level when he joins America
Online
as PangK@aol.com.
January 1, 1997
In a sign of things to come, Ken viciously
attacks a woman on the soc.men newsgroup, referring to her as a "despicable cunt" and "gutter slime". Around this time, Pangborn begins attacking Barbara Amero, Anastasia Alexander and other
women with threats of offline violence.
September 19, 1997
Usenet access of Pangborn's America Online account is suspended for the first time.
December 8, 1997
After Anastasia Alexander suggests that Ken cease his harassment, Ken
makes
a
post threatening to have her raped.
July 1998
Ken Pangborn's AOL account is suspended for the second time. He
quickly
resumes posting through dejanews.
August 1998
After a letter is sent to Ken's professional affiliation, the ASTC, Ken
begins threatening to have David Moore sent to prison. The threats
continue
daily for nearly six months. When questioned about the delay in
making
an "arrest", Ken comes up with comical excuses such as "the warrants
all
expired", "all the policemen suddenly all went on vacation" and "a
clerk
at the agency lost the address".
October 1998
Due to Ken's singlehanded destruction of the group, milw.general is
retromoderated.
November 12, 1998
Ken begins
attacking
a six year old child.
June 2000
Ken attends the American Society of Trial Consultants conference in St.
Louis, Missouri. According to sources, he is soundly rebuffed by
his fellow ASTC members....so much so, that he later denies that he was
at the conference.
July 16, 2000
The "
Ken Pangborn Challenge" is posted.
If Ken provides proof for any single one of his
claims,
these web pages will be taken down. Ken immediately claims that
he
is sending proof to a man named "Fred", whom he promises is going to
"cram
it down my throat".
July 21, 2000
In a usenet
post, Ken promises that proof
for
his claims is being mailed to him, and that he should have it in "7 -
10
days". He also makes false allegations that David Moore raped and
blackmailed
the wives of men he served with in the Marine Corps.
July 22, 2000
Ken again
acknowledges receipt of
"permission"
for him to post his "proof".
July 26, 2000
Realizing that the "7 - 10 days" is now halfway over, Ken begins making
excuses for his inability to post proof. Among these are his
insistence
that he somehow needs "permission" to post public records, despite
the
fact that he acknowledged having this "permission" in his
July
21 and
July 22 posts.
August 4, 2000
Ten business days have now passed since Ken
vowed
that the "proof" was being sent to him. Ken has failed to produce
any evidence for his claims, and still insists that he somehow needs
"permission"
to post matters of public record.
August 8, 2000
America Online terminates Ken Pangborn's PangK@aol.com account for
abuse.
This results in Ken's sebring021@aol.com address being terminated as well.
August 9, 2000
Pangborn reappears as kenpangborn@earthlink.net.
August 12, 2000
Ken makes a
post where he claims to have
been affiliated with the Electronic Frontiers Foundation in 1980.
However, it's later proven conclusively that EFF did not exist in any
format until a full ten years later.
October 1, 2000
Ken Pangborn is elected "Kook of the Month" for the month of
September.
July 3, 2002
The krp@atlantic.net account is involuntarily terminated for abuse,
including excessive crossposting. On the same day, the judgedredd@ij.net account makes its
appearance.
November 2002
A series of anonymous attacks begins against Terri Madison, Katie
McN and numerous others in alt.sex.stories.d, a discussion group
regarding adult literature. In the ensuing message thread in that
newsgroup, Ken as judgedredd@ij.net
quickly shows up to blame "David Moore" for the posts. He
vehemently denies that he is Ken Pangborn, and changes the "nick"
portion of his e-mail address five different times in an effort
to conceal his identity.
November 11, 2002
Ken as
judgedredd@ij.net
sends an e-mail in which he entirely forgets his alternate identity,
and speaks entirely as himself throughout the e-mail.
November 12, 2002
In the ASSD newsgroup,
judgedredd@ij.net
claims to be a
"friend"
of Pangborn.
November 15, 2002
Terri Madison, an ASSD regular, is the first to publicly
expose
Ken at the judgedredd account.
September 28 , 2003
According to Ken's later claim, he marries Barbara Mercedes Blanco-Sanciprian on this day.
October 17, 2003
The judgedredd@ij.net is terminated for abuse.
January 2, 2004
When accused of a round of forgeries in
alt.atheism, Ken denies them, trying to claim that he "was in Cuba" at the time. He posts a scanned "copy" of a "boarding pass" on the web. When he enlists members of the
comp.graphics.apps.photoshop newsgroup to back him up, they quickly proclaim that the scan is
altered.
January 8, 2005
Public records confirm that Ken marries Barbara Blanco-Sanciprian. Despite this, Google documents that Ken made 19 posts on this day, followed by 48 posts the following day.
March 8, 2005
Ken Pangborn outs himself as the alt.atheism forger when he mistakenly routes one of his posts as a
forgery of Mark K. Bilbo, one of Ken's "marks" from that group.
October 15, 2005
Ken Pangborn offers to arrange a time to meet with Jeffrey Bloss, to provide "HARD COPY" proof of his lies. Mr. Bloss agrees, requesting that a time and place be named.
