Ken Pangborn's "judgedredd@ij.net" alias

In June 2002, Ken Pangborn's account with Atlantic.net was involuntarily terminated due to abuse.  One day later, "judgedredd@ij.net" appeared and picked up right where the krp@atlantic.net ID had left off.  Despite this, Pangborn has vehemently denied that "Judge Dredd" is him.

This page offers proof that the two are one and the same.  The usenet archive at Google.com is used as the point of reference for this.

Common Agenda

Ken Pangborn's "anti-David Moore" agenda is well known throughout the usenet groups he frequents.  His attacks on this subject are too numerous to list here.  Instead, another, equally damning example will be posted here.

First, a recent post by "judgedredd" to alt.privacy.anon-server, where he is complaining about "uplifting free speech" in comments directed to Steve Gielda, a remailer operator:

(note that in this particular example, Judgedredd misspelled the word "free")

And, a Google groups search for the phrase "uplifting free speech" where the results are more than a year old:

Note the author of the posts which are returned.  Also significant is the fact that in the entire history of usenet dating back to 1981, the only two people to have used the phrase "uplifting free speech" are "judgedredd" and Kenneth Pangborn--both against remailer operators on alt.privacy.anon-server.

In recent weeks, there have also been numerous crossposts into the alt.privacy.anon-server newsgroup by "judgedredd", in response to various messages from anonymous remailers.  Ken has done this many times in the past from his other accounts.

I received the following e-mail from "judgedredd" in response to a message he believed I'd authored.  Two things are notable here:

The "anonymous" individual who sent that
"warning" is David Moore of
Bolingbrook Illinois. The claims are completely false, the author is a
certifiable nut case internet stalker. His claims about me are totally
false. I have never had any involvement in a sex offense anywhere, I
was in
no way connected to the deaths of any police officers anywhere, and I
am NOT
involved in scouting. The man is mentally ill! This is part of the
man's 6
year long stalking and harassing of me that even includes a website
he has
about me.
